What “full service” actually means here

There is a version of junk removal where a truck shows up and someone stands in your driveway while you drag a sleeper sofa up the basement stairs by yourself. That is not this.

Our crew walks the property with you first, agrees a price out loud, and then does every piece of the physical work. If a sectional will not fit back through the doorway it came in through, we take the legs off. If the treadmill has to come up a switchback stairwell, that is a problem for two people with straps, not for you.

The kind of jobs we get called for most

Around Northern Virginia the pattern is pretty consistent. Basements in the older Fairfax and Annandale colonials that have quietly filled up across fifteen years. Garages in Ashburn and South Riding that stopped fitting a car sometime around the second kid. Townhouse turnovers in Arlington where a tenant left behind furniture nobody wants to deal with before the next lease starts.

Also, constantly: one specific item somebody has been walking around for months. A piano nobody plays. A hot tub that stopped heating in 2019. An enormous CRT television in a basement corner. These are all fine. They are, honestly, some of our favourite calls, because the relief is immediate and total.

How the pricing works

We price by volume — how much room your stuff takes up in the truck — not by the hour and not by the item. That matters, because hourly pricing quietly punishes you for having a long carry or a tricky staircase, and per-item pricing turns into arithmetic nobody can follow.

Volume pricing means the number we say in your driveway is the number on the invoice. You can see the full load-size table before you ever call us, which is more than any of the national franchises operating in this area will show you.

Where it goes afterwards

Not straight to a landfill, if we can help it. Usable furniture, working appliances and household goods go to local donation partners. Metal gets separated for scrap. Electronics go through proper e-waste channels rather than into the general waste stream, which matters more than most people realise given what is inside an old television.

We are not going to overclaim a diversion percentage we cannot verify. What we will say is that sorting happens on every single load, and it costs you nothing extra, because it is simply how the job should be done.
